We create POP-UP events that are grounded in PURPOSE, designed as a STORY and staged as a sensory EXPERIENCE.
18.213 made a huge SPLASH in December 2015 as it reopened its doors again as the only POP-UP Experiential event space in Egypt after being on hiatus in Montreal, Canada.
OUR SEASON STARTED with health coach DANA DINNAWI'S "NOURISH YOUR MIND, BODY & SOUL" Event in January, 2016.
It was the first time a virtual coaching service turned into an interactive experiential event, all the attendees left the experience feeling inspired to jumpstart their health for 2016 and sign up for Dana's programs.
Celebrating the beginning of Spring, our second launch event was with Amal Akhnoukh, a mosaic artist with a purpose. THREE ERA'S, ONE IDENTITY was a unique spin on an art show, it blended her art exhibit, with a social entrepreneurship school project and 2 product launches. Everyone was immersed in an energy of creativity, positivity and left the event with a renewed perception for what Mosaic Art stands for.
18.213's one year Anniversary was celebrated by a unique Holiday Pop-Up event on December 6 & 7, with the signature jewelry brand ZAGH. It was our FIRST OFF-SITE EVENT. Guests felt they had suddenly walked into a shop in Milan or NYC and they were instantly immersed in the warm spirit of Christmas. ZAGH's unique collections that are inspired by nature, our cultural identity and the complexity of our emotions impressed everyone that made it to the event.
2017 was an exciting year for 18.213, as I extended my portfolio to launch Story-Tell Your Brand a unique platform to inspire Entrepreneurs to look at their businesses through the lens of a STORY. I designed the first-ever Story-Tell Your Brand Retreat blueprint and in December I had 10 exceptional women entrepreneurs that were part of this innovative experience. The retreat combined an immersive learning experience with wellness activities that replenished their souls. For 3 full days in a magical venue called Ardi in Dahshour the attendees got to escape the chaos and stress of their daily lives and just focus on their wellbeing and discover the STORY in their brands.
December is all about the festive Christmas season, so 18.213 and Urban Nomad decided to collaborate and design a socially conscious Christmas window display at my venue. The idea inspired Cairo American College to send their middle schoolers and listen to a bold presentation about how we can all be part of changing how we manage our trash. The students left inspired to share what they learned with their communities and make Maadi a cleaner suburb.
On May 5th, 2018 the Doodle Factory collaborated with 18.213 to curate the “Do It From The Heart” Pop-Up Story event to help fund the heart surgeries for 2 children that inspired the design of their new summer product line. The event was an epic success, it was exploding with colour, positive energy and doing good for those less fortunate.
November, 2018 was all about paying it forward and curating a unique event for ZEIN , an arts school in the Awlady Orphanage that teaches kids from ages 6 - 20 skills in pottery, rug making, fashion design, painting and batik so they are equipped to deal with their future. The “I Can Be” event at 18.213 immersed a fully engaged audience with the project and it inspired them to shift their perception for what is possible for vulnerable communities in Egypt. Most of the ZEIN products were sold out and we were honoured to have the Minister of Social Solidarity, Ghada Wali attend the experience.
